I personally feel grateful to Allah that He has bestowed my school among the thousands school with this valuable title of Sekolah Bestari. It is very rewarding as my school will be fully furnished with ICT infrastructure and my hope is it could enhance the inner spirit of the school community to teach and learn harder than before. Program sekolah bestari diperluas
CYBERJAYA: Selepas 88 sekolah dipilih untuk program sekolah bestari, Kementerian Pelajaran akan memperluaskan rancangan ini kepada 15 sekolah di kawasan luar bandar di seluruh negara.Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif Multimedia Development Corporation Sdn Bhd (MDeC) Datuk Badlisham Ghazali berkata nama sekolah-sekolah itu dijangka diumumkan bulan depan.Beliau berkata dua sekolah, Sekolah Menengah Ampang Pecah, Kuala Kubu Baru, Selangor dan Sekolah Kebangsaan Felda Palong 14, Gemas, Negeri Sembilan adalah antara 15 sekolah itu yang menjadi sekolah contoh.
Antara faedah yang diperoleh oleh dua sekolah ini termasuk komputer notebook, hubungan Internet tanpa wayar (Wi-Fi) dan WiMAX."Kita nak buat showcase sebab kita tahu mungkin di sekolah-sekolah luar bandar ini ada masalah lain seperti bekalan elektrik yang tidak terjamin."Kita mahu kaji bagaimana kita sebenarnya boleh mengatasi atau mengurangkan masalah ini dan manfaatnya. Jika kementerian bersetuju mungkin mereka akan membenarkan lebih banyak pelaksanaannya," katanya pada majlis prapelancaran program ini di sini hari ini.
